Meet the Team

Y’know the saying there’s no i in team? Well, that’s how we roll here.

Even though there are 2 of us at the moment, we definitely don’t do this alone. We have a lot of amazing contractors who work collaboratively with us on a regular basis.

That’s another thing we pride ourselves on here; our connections. If required, we make sure we get the best people for the job on each project!

For now, why don’t you have a bit more of a read below on the 2 crazy creatives currently running this joint?

Tara

Look, it was clear from the get-go that I was going to do something with art. I used to spend countless hours drawing Spice Girls and Mickey Mouse so I could win the Saturday Disney Prize Pack (I won one you know).

For over 10 years I worked as a Designer, then Art Director, in a Sydney Ad Agency. I had the opportunity to work some amazing brands and in 2012 I was commissioned by (then) All Phones Arena to illustrate the bike design that was being custom painted for Katy Perry herself when she did her Prismatic tour.

Learning and embracing change is something that I love to do. I’ve studied an array of things from Media Communications, Brand Strategy and Development, Graphic Design, Art Direction, Copywriting… you get the point, you can check out my LinkedIn profile for more. So, using my knowledge and experience I decided to start my own venture to help brands go to market with meaning.

Stace

As a kid, I’d spend my days doodling on napkins and coffee cups or anything that wouldn’t get me into too much trouble. All I ever wanted to do was make stuff look cool. I figured if there was a way I could create something every day I’d be satisfied and to me, design was always where that road would take me. So, I went on to study Design and Communication as well as Fine and Contemporary Arts, anything that allowed me to put pen and paints to paper.

I’ve been in the industry now for over 6 years. As a junior, I was fortunate enough to land a role in the creative team of a Sydney based Advertising Agency. Here I was hungry to learn as much as I could, I diversified my skills and soaked in everything my mentors could teach me before moving on to an in-house marketing studio with Belkin. Since then I’ve worked as a freelance designer which has given me the chance to challenge myself creatively and keep my passion for design burning strong.

Team work makes the dream work
